Metal Essence is a precision CNC machine shop in Longwood, Florida. Family-owned since 1986, running nine CNC machines across horizontal milling, multi-axis turning, and Swiss-type production. ISO 9001:2015 certified. ITAR registered. We take the parts other shops won't.
What We Do

Horizontal Milling
Five Mazak HCN 5000 horizontals set up the same way — same tooling, same fixturing, same programs — so any part can run on any machine. If one is down, production continues on another. Dual-pallet automation keeps parts moving.
Multi-Axis Turning
Mill-turn capability on Mazak Multiplex and QT series. Y-axis, live tooling, sub-spindle. Complex parts done-in-one, reducing handling and improving concentricity.
Swiss-Type Production
Tsugami B0206V for small-diameter, high-precision parts. Sliding headstock design for long, slender components. High-volume runs with tight tolerances.
Engineering Support
SolidWorks and CAMWorks in-house. DFM review before cutting metal. Cycle-time optimization that reduces your per-piece cost. We quote in 1–2 days.
Assembly & Kitting
Mechanical assembly, press-fit operations, and kitting services. We build our own roller lifter product line in-house — same care goes into your assemblies.
Secondary Processes
Managed finishing through trusted partners: anodize, electroless nickel, zinc plating, black oxide, heat treating, passivation. Complete documentation for regulated industries.
